Electric Potential Due to Discrete Distribution of Charges

Suppose we have q1, q2, …..qn are the electric charges distributed discretely and r1, r2,……rn are the position vectors, respectively, then electric potential at point P due to electric charge qn is calculated as below.

The total electrical potential at point P is the sum of all electrical potential of all charges of distribution.
